Top Picks For Winter

22nd Nov 2022

Winter is officially here! There’s a reason so many of us love the coldest months of the year, with Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years to look forward to, snow and iced over lakes perfect for some winter fun, cozy vibes and being surrounded by your friends and family. We are excited to crack out winter coatsscarves and sweaters, so here is the JB team’s list of warm winter clothing you won’t want to miss out on this season.

Sweaters and Knitwear

How can you have winter without cozy jumpers and knits? With a pouch pocket to keep your hands warm, and a hood to keep the wind off your neck, our Global Splice Hoodie and Ripley Splice Hoodie are great casual options. Wear over a t-shirt with a pair of jeans on cool mornings, or under a coat with chinos for night markets and pub dinners. For a slightly less casual look, try out our new Hugo Jacquard Zip Thru Sweat.

For a zip up jumper that feels like a cardigan, it’s hard to resist the Matthias Zip Cardigan in charcoal. Enjoy a funnel collar that will keep your neck toasty, and pockets for your daily essentials. Pair it with a white tee or shirt, our Floyd Check Pants and black dress shoes for a smart look.

Embrace the winter wonderland with our new Leo Crew Neck Sweater, a knitted jumper that’s just asking for hot chocolate and s’mores by the fireplace. Alternatively, layer this sweater over your button up work shirts and dress pants for a wintery office-ready outfit.

Have you ever wanted the comfort of a sweater, with the functionality of a hoodie? Want no more! Our two hoodie knits for the season, the Kash Textured Hoodie Knit and Saxon Ombre Hoodie Knit, are bringing loungewear to your everyday wardrobe. Layered under your coat or denim jacket, these knits are perfect for coffee runs, lunch dates, and for wearing as you fly back to your hometown.

Jackets and Coats

Layering is key this winter, so the outwear you pick is important! Before you graduate to a puffer you might need on your skiing trip, try the Luka Puffer Jacket for a comfy casual attire. The fully lined inside with quilted padded paneling and Velcro cuff fastening ensure that cold air isn’t getting in, keeping you snug. Or for an option with less bulk, the Redmond Harrington Jacket is a modern take on the trucker jacket, perfect for elevating your flannel shirt and jeans look. The silver color looks great with black and white, as well as bright pops of color.

Don’t forget your coat for chilly commutes, date nights, and winter weddings. A classic versatile choice, the Roman Wool Overcoat is all style. Fully lined to keep you warm, with pockets both on the inside and outside, and button detail on the sleeves, the Roman will be your go-to coat all season. Layer over the top of a collared shirt and jumper, and your choice of chinos or dress pants for a smart look.

For the more casual occasions, and your mid-winter grocery runs, the Oxley Wool Hood Coat features a heavy weight twill fabric, lots of pockets and that high neck with a hood for ultimate coziness on the go. And finally, for formal occasions, perfect for layering over your suit, look no further than the Hutton Coat. Button up to a high neck whilst its windy, or keep unbuttoned with a scarf.

Sweatpants

We’d be remiss not to mention the ultimate cold weather staple, a good pair of sweatpants! The Holt Fleece Trackpants will be by your side during freezing nights, frosty breakfasts, relaxed days at home, gym sessions, to errand days and cross-state drives. Choose from black or navy, and pair with your comfiest sweatshirt or hoodie and thick socks for marshmallows by the fireplace evenings. You won’t want to take these ones off!
